Melinda started her culinary career in Santa Fe, NM. She went on continuing to grow. It in spites of the incredible hardships in her life, She continued to fall in love more and more with the culinary arts industry. In 2004, her parents passed away a year later she was diagnosed with terminal cancer having to move to LA for treatments. In 2013, years after a horrible battle and thrown into hospice. She decided to walk out and eliminate terminal cancer out of her DNA. She did this with the help of a team of doctors and holistic doctors. She realized that she had missed the gift of Living Food and the importance of True Nutrition. Since her freedom from cancer, she has gone on to get several degrees including her couple Ph.D.'s which she will have in 2 years. It has been her mission to let all know that there is always a way to feel, deal, and, heal. In 2017, she published Death doesn't know my name! and it's exciting to see what she is up to next! between her cooking show, teachings as a professor, and the next endeavor she does. It all is amazing watching Melinda!
